Mission
The IECRG aims to:
- Foster Community and Belonging: We work to create an inclusive environment where all employees including international employees feel connected, valued, and respected. We build bridges among employees from different backgrounds through events, networking opportunities, and social gatherings.
- Improve Retention: By offering support and resources tailored to the needs of all employees including international faculty and staff, we aim to enhance their experience at the university and promote long-term retention.
At the University of Arkansas, the International Employee and Colleagues Resource Group is committed to enriching the university's mission of teaching, research, and service through the power of belonging and community engagement. Our primary goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging for all employees.
