Mission
The Armed Forces Employee and Colleague Resource Group's goal is to be a resource for faculty and staff who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. AFEIG’s mission is to provide support while advancing the common interests. AFEIG is open to all military members, veterans, and friends.
The Armed Forces Employee and Colleague Resource Group is dedicated to assisting the university in accomplishing its mission of teaching, research and service by strengthening community, care, career and culture; improving retention of students, faculty and staff who have served or are currently servicing in the armed forces. In collaboration with campus partners, it aspires to cultivate an environment in which veterans and former military members can flourish, creating opportunities for social interaction, networking, mentoring, community engagement and professional and personal development. We plan to provide more details in the upcoming year.
