Upload Candidate Assessment Rubric

  • Only after the required posting window has ended, post the Candidate Assessment Document to the requisition.  Make sure that the applicant assessment document contains clear and logical reasons for/against Interviewing a candidate.  You may select the numeric (staff or faculty) or narrative (staff or faculty) document.
  • As a general guideline, candidate assessment documentation should be written clearly and objectively, such that any external reviewer could understand the rationale for selecting or not selecting a candidate for an interview.
  • All canidates must be listed on the assessment document including those who withdraw.
  • The disposition reasons on the assessment document must match what Is entered In Workday.
  • Arkansas Veterans Preference must be noted and accounted for In assessment.

Search Committee Members should be noted on the Search Committee Membership Form.

While search committees are considered a best practice to support a fair hiring process, they are not required by federal or state law, nor by University of Arkansas policy. The hiring manager may serve as the sole official responsible for recruiting and hiring employees. In such cases, the search committee form must still be completed, and the hiring manager should be listed as the sole search committee member. This ensures appropriate documentation and consistency in the hiring process..

Upload Outreach Recruiting Document

  • The complete report from CIRCA must be attached to the requisition.
  • Make sure that any external sources that were utilized are attached to the report.

 

Status Update

Once all three required documents are successfully uploaded, contact your employment coordinator or HR partner to disposition the applicants appropriatelyIn Workday.  All candidates that should be Interviewed must be moved to "Recruitment Analysis Review".  Second Tier candidates may be marked as such.  Candidates that should be dispositioned should be done-so In Workday, with the appropriate reason selected. As a reminder, applicants who are marked as not meeting the qualifications will automatically receive a notification from Workday informing them of their status.

THE HIRING PROCESS SHOULD NOT CONTINUE UNTIL NOTICE OF THE COMPLETION OF THE RECRUITMENT ANALYSIS REVIEW IS PROVIDED BY THE OEOC.
