There are many resources available to veterans at the university, and the list below is not exhaustive.   • Career Development Services
    • Career services are available through the Career Development Center. The services include career counseling, assessments, resume writing, and many other opportunities that will prepare you for resuming and expanding your career with the university.
  • Walton College Career Center
    • The Walton College Career Center is ready to help veterans who are business majors.
  • Arkansas Department of Veterans Services
    • Veteran Services provides up-to-date and useful information for veterans and their families on their rights and benefits, including information on the Arkansas Veterans Homes, the state cemetery system, county offices and links to other federal and state resources.
  • Arkansas Veteran
    • ArkansasVeteran.com is a portal to bring together in one place veteran-related resources, news, information, and agency contacts for active-duty, Reserve, Guard, and retired Arkansas veterans and their families.
  • Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center
    • The center provides veterans with small business training and opportunities. 
  • Wounded Warriors Project
    • This site is directed toward programs and information specific to injured veterans.
  • Veteran Voluntary Self-Identification Instructions
    • If you are a protected veteran who is a University of Arkansas employee, please use the voluntary self-identification instructions to guide you through the process of updating your status as a protected veteran, a veteran with a disability and whether you are a veteran who has a disability that requires accommodations.

  • Student Affairs - Veterans Resources and Information Center
    • This site connects you to all of the programs available for University of Arkansas students.
  • Enrollment Services - Admissions
    • The University of Arkansas is committed to the recruitment and graduation of veterans of the United States armed forces. In addition, the university is a proud member of the Yellow Ribbon Program. The program helps cover the difference between non-resident and resident tuition that is not covered by the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.
  • Off-Campus Student Services
    • Off-Campus Student Services assists off-campus student veterans at the University of Arkansas by providing student housing listings, workshops and resources on how to transition to life off campus, as well as programs that help connect students to campus and ultimately see their name on Senior Walk.
  • Veterans Resource and Information Center Board
    • The Veterans Resource and Information Center Advisory Board consists of community leaders, alumni, and friends who are committed to programs and services benefiting University of Arkansas student veterans and their families.

    • If you or someone you know has served in the military and wants to go back to school, there are probably a good number of awards you qualify for on a governmental or institutional level. This guide is designed to outline the different awards and programs that provide educational assistance to veterans and their dependents.
