Institutional Engagement

Employee Impact Groups

Are you interested in connecting with colleagues who share similar backgrounds or identities at the University of Arkansas? Consider joining one of the eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at the university. These groups provide support to employees with similar experiences and offer a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships. By joining an ERG, you can promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, which can increase your job satisfaction and engagement. Take advantage of this chance to cultivate an inclusive environment and establish valuable connections with your peers. If you don't see a group that fits your needs, you can discuss establishing a new group with Dr. Angela Mosley-Monts by contacting her at belongs@uark.edu.

Campus Partnerships

Departments across campus partner with OEOC to ensure all mandated guidelines regarding fair employment standards are fully adhered to in every instance.

Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center is a student-centered, multicultural, intersectional space that affirms difference and explores shared humanity through cultural celebrations, intercultural public events, arts-based community outreach, educational forums, and partnerships that promote diversity education and social justice.

We host college readiness workshops and academic enrichment programs intended to promote inclusiveness, foster achievement and assist in the development and advancement of a diverse student body.

We are a campus community focused on welcoming all students while valuing, engaging, and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

CEA

Welcome to the Center for Educational Access (CEA), the central campus resource for facilitating campus access for students with disabilities, chronic health, and/or temporary limitations!

Adjusting to a university setting presents many challenges for new students, especially for those with disabilities. The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville makes every effort to offer equal educational opportunities for all students and is committed to improving the total university experience for students with disabilities.

The CEA provides direct support for students with disabilities and training and educational resources to the University community as a whole.

Unity Alliance Leaders

The University of Arkansas Unity Alliance Leaders are instrumental in fostering a culture where psychological safety, well-being, and inclusivity are foundational to our workplace environment. As collective ambassadors for equity and inclusion, these leaders are committed to making the University of Arkansas a true Employer of Choice—one where faculty and staff feel supported, respected, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work.

The Unity Alliance Leaders consist of 110 dedicated faculty and staff members from various schools, colleges, departments, and units, who meet monthly to strategize and advocate for a positive, thriving workplace culture. Together, they prioritize creating a safe space where everyone feels free to voice ideas, express concerns, and collaborate openly. Their work enhances not only individual well-being but also the university’s broader commitment to a workplace that values belonging, engagement, and holistic support.

Through ongoing initiatives, open discussions, and intentional programming, the Unity Alliance Leaders champion a vision of psychological safety and connection. By embedding these values into the university culture, they are shaping a welcoming, inclusive environment that promotes not only academic and professional success but also a deep sense of purpose and shared responsibility among all members of our campus community.
