How to Join

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Interest Expression:

Fill out an interest form Join the Community .

Attend an introductory meeting or information session.

2. Application Process:

Complete the membership application form. ergmembershipregistration. (change to ercgmembership registration and change the form to say, "University of Arkansas Employee and Colleagues Resource Groups Registration Form".)

A representative from the ECRG/ERGs will contact you.

3. Approval and Onboarding:

Wait for approval from the ECRG committee.

Attend a new member orientation session.

4. Engagement:

Participate in ECRG meetings and events.

Join subcommittees or special projects that interest you.

Contributing to an Employee and Colleagues Resource Group (ECRG) can take many forms, depending on your interests, skills, and available time. Here are some key ways you can get involved and make meaningful contributions:

How to Contribute

1. Join Subcommittees or Task Forces

  • Event Planning: Help organize and execute ECRG events, such as workshops, social gatherings, or community outreach initiatives.
  • Communications: Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters, social media content, and internal communications.
  • Membership Engagement: Work on initiatives to recruit new members, retain current members, and ensure everyone feels welcome and valued.
  • Professional Development: Develop and coordinate training sessions, mentorship programs, and career development resources.

2. Volunteer for Events and Activities

  • Participate in and support events, whether they are virtual or in-person.
