Equal Opportunity, Compliance & Title IX Training

Training requests can be submitted online for Equal Opportunity, Compliance & Title IX related trainings.

Training and education are fundamental to maintaining an environment free from discriminatory harassment and retaliation. Equal Opportunity, Compliance & Title IX support, offer, and report on many training programs across the university. Mandatory employee training is automatically assigned in Workday.

Title IX Training

In accordance with Title IX regulations, the university makes publicly available the materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and individuals who facilitate informal resolution processes.

University of Arkansas students and employees receive Title IX training and education through the University of Arkansas System (available in Workday). Additional training for students or departments can be requested by emailing the Title IX Office.

Equal Opportunity Training 

Discrimination, harassment and retaliation are all prohibited by university policies and state and federal laws. Employees of the university have mandatory training requirements that must be completed on a recurring basis surrounding these topics.

Accessibility & Accommodations Training

The university prohibits discrimination based on disability in all services, programs and activities, aspects of the application process and employment relationship. Related trainings are available within Workday in support of this effort.
