Search Committee Member Request
After a position is posted in Workday, all those involved in the hiring process must complete Search Committee Training. This training is valid for three (3) years. To enroll in Search Committee Training, faculty/staff may choose their prefered date on the OEOC Training Calendar. The OEOC offers sessions at various times throughout each semester.
The OEOC also offers an online, self paced pilot of this training. It can be requested via Search Committee Training Request.
Any non-university employee involved in the search process, must request via Search Committee Training Request. Please note in the comments of the training request that the non-university employee will be added to an open search and provide the applicable email address.
Once Search Committee Training is complete, it is valid for three years. You may check whether an employee is compliant on Search Committee Training by utalizing the "Overview" feature under an employee's name in Workday. If an employee is compliant, a "Committee Service" tab will populate with the expiration date of their training.
If an employee is compliant on Search Committee Training, they can be added to the open job requisistion hiring panel by the HR Buisness Partner or Recruiter for the open post.
